Procedure to fix Paper jam issue on Datamax-O’Neil Printer
Solution 1
- First, turn the printing machine off and let it cool down for 60 seconds.
- Switch on the printer and give permission to warm up. (Wait until the printer stops making noise)
- Open the paper tray and load paper into the paper. Check if the paper feeds.
- Realign the paper and slide back the input tray then run a test print.
- If the printing device prints, then the problem is solved. You may continue your printing without any difficulty.
- If however, the printing device does not print then go to the next solution.
Solution 2
- Switch on the printer then slide open the input tray and replace all loose paper.
- In case, there is a paper jammed in the printing device, replace it by gently pulling it out.
- Check the tray to see if there is any piece of paper left. Look for other foreign objects as well.
- Slide in the input tray then goes to the back of the printer.
- While still on, replace the power cord from the printing machine. Remove any attached cables and USB as well.

- Plug the power plug and other wires back to the printer.
